Disaster relief

The NTR Foundation is here to help quickly when disasters like floods or a major crisis happen. We focus on providing good medical care, especially in places where it's hard to get help, like rural areas. Our main goal is not just to help right away but also to rebuild lives. We make sure everyone, especially those affected by disasters, gets the important healthcare they need, and we do it for free. Join us in making communities healthier and stronger. Your support is crucial and helps people when they need it the most. We've responded to crises like floods in places such as Kurnool and Mahabubnagar Districts in Andhra Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. In emergencies, we've rescued people and brought them back safely. We also provide necessities like safe drinking water and food to those affected. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we've fulfilled needs by giving families things like rations, packed meals, fruits, vegetables, and medicines. Your support helps us make a positive impact in places facing distress.

Flood Relief activities - Kurnool and Mahabubnagar:

After the serious flood in the Krishna River that caused a lot of damage in Kurnool and Mahabubnagar districts of united Andhra Pradesh, the NTR Foundation quickly helped by giving full support. We organized 54 medical camps to provide good medical care, free medical services, and important healthcare to the affected communities. We also gave Rs. 15 crore worth of medicines, provisions, milk, water, books, school bags, clothes, and bed sheets to help with health and livelihood needs during this tough time. Our goal was to give immediate help and contribute to the long-term well-being of the people affected by the flood.

Relief Operation - Uttarakhand:

In June 2013, Uttarakhand was hit by a major natural disaster, and NTR Foundation was at the forefront of relief efforts. Our team rescued 510 Telugu individuals stranded in Uttarakhand and arranged for their safe return to Hyderabad on a special flight. Upon their arrival, we provided free and high-quality medical care to address their immediate health needs. We also organized transportation for them to their respective locations using specially arranged vehicles. This comprehensive approach reflects our commitment to rural health and delivering exceptional healthcare during times of crisis through medical camps and relief initiatives.

Relief Operation - Phailin Cyclone:

In 2013, heavy rain and floods caused significant damage and distress in Andhra Pradesh's Guntur, Prakasam, and Krishna Districts. Our team responded by organizing 25 medical camps, providing free medical care to over 10,000 people, and distributing essential medicines. We also supplied necessities such as safe drinking water and food to those affected, demonstrating our dedication to delivering high-quality healthcare and free medical services during emergencies.

Relief Operation - Hud Hud Cyclone:

In 2014, strong rains hit Visakhapatnam, causing floods in northern Andhra Pradesh and a lot of damage to people's lives and jobs. The NTR Foundation quickly helped by giving important medical care through 30 camps, helping more than 45,000 people. Our main focus is on providing free medical services and good healthcare to help the communities that are going through tough times. Also, our team gave out water, buttermilk, and milk right away to provide immediate help. This shows how committed we are to giving free care and supporting the health of people in rural areas.

Relief Operation in Hyderabad:

In 2016, Hyderabad experienced severe floods. The NTR Foundation quickly responded by distributing food and providing clean drinking water to 5,000 people in nine different slums. This immediate assistance aimed to reduce the challenges posed by the floods and provide the good health of the affected communities.

Relief Operation - Kerala Floods:

In 2018, when heavy rains caused floods in Kerala, the NTR Foundation supported the affected communities. Collaborating with Kerala Medical Services Corporation Limited, we identified health needs. Responding to their requirements, we provided 20 types of medicines worth 16 lakh rupees, with support from NATCO & Srinivasa Pharma. Additionally, we raised funds by supplying 10,000 kids with long notebooks. A transport vehicle carrying medicines and notebooks, valued at Rs. 40 lakhs, was sent to Trivandrum. our dedication to providing free medical care, high-quality healthcare, and support for rural health.

COVID 19 Relief Activities in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana:

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the NTR Foundation actively fulfilled its mission by assisting the vulnerable. The Trust spent approximately a crore of rupees to distribute over 250,000 face masks in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, highlighting the importance of free medical care and healthcare. More than 20,000 families received dry rations, packed meals, fruits, vegetables, and medicines across various locations in both states, highlighting our commitment to rural health. Additionally, around 3,000 cooked meals and biscuit packets were provided to migrant laborers and daily wagers, demonstrating our dedication to high-quality healthcare and support for those in need.
